My name is Connor Gority, and I was born on October 18th, 2000 in a small Pennsylvania town called Altoona.

I was the kind of kid who had the most expansive imagination in class. Always coming up with characters and stories (regrettably some of the excuses for things), but stories nonetheless. Growing up, I was fascinated with the works of Stephen King and other fiction writers. I was drawn to more adult orientated novels as opposed to children's stories, so where the other kids read Judy Blume or Goosebumps, I was reading the Percy Jackson series or one of my ultimate favorites, It from Stephen King.

My writing passion began small but took off when I was about 12 years old, where I had the first idea for Elderquest. A lot of the characters and story points came to me in dreams. I loved drawing and sketching growing up, so any time I had a new dream for a character, I would grab my papers and markers and go at it. It took me two years and eight months to finally complete my first novel, Elderquest: Book 1. After that, I just couldn't be stopped. Ideas came to me left, right, and center and often so much that I got some little journals to write everything down in.

Currently, I am still writing, always expanding the Elderquest universe. I still live in Pennsylvania and am going to college in Pittsburgh. I hope to keep my passion alive for much, much longer, as I have so much more to tell.
